Most gamers owned either an XBox, a Wii, or the PS3; in simple words, these three consoles dominate the gaming consoles market. They have their pros and cons, however, overall they are very good. All of them try to come up with something new, something better for their gaming clan every year.
In this article, we will take a look at all of them and help you decide the one you should get. Most of the games â the major ones â can be found for the Xbox as well as the PS3. These include games like Fifa â12, Call of Duty series, etc. If that is what you are looking for, you may pick any of these consoles; it will do the job just right. All of them have, more or less, the same computing power, the same capacity and the same graphics. There is little to differentiate on those fronts.
The picture, however, changes when you look at the quality of the games available for each of these consoles. Some clearly lead the race from that angle. For example, with Xbox 360, you may get the Xbox Kinect 360, launched in 2010, which is an amazing new way to look at gaming. PS3 has itâs own version of Kinect, called the Move, too!
Apart from that, there are exclusive gaming titles for both of these platforms. In my opinion, the PS3 exclusives hold a slight edge. Gaming titles such as the Uncharted series, Resistance, God of War, inFamous, etc make the PS3 a very tempting purchase.
In the same vein, Xbox 360 has itâs own set of excellent gaming titles as well. These include but are not limited to Gears of War, Forza, Halo series, etc. You may also avail of Free 48 Hour Xbox Live Codes, which are very helpful. With these codes, you can play online, on the Xbox Live environment which is fantastic.
The PS3 also has the Playstation Network, also known as PSN, that facilitates the same for PS3 fanatics. You would be hard pressed to declare a clear winner because they are equals on numerous fronts, however, due to the current gaming titles, I would say PS3 is the better one but only just. The price is on the higher side but itâs a one-time investment, after all.
